2011 Colorado Farm Fresh Directory

It’s growing season and Colorado is a GREAT place to be to experience all that’s LOCAL!

The 2011 Colorado Farm Fresh Directory features more than 260 farms, ranches, roadside stands, u-picks, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs and agritourism operations as well as nearly 100 farmers’ markets across the state. Farm Fresh also includes farms that offer tours, wineries, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, farm and ranch vacations, and a crop calendar. In addition, the free directory includes county fairs, food and agricultural festivals, recipes and tips for picking Colorado produce.

    Wonder if it would be possible to obtain surplus from these markets to the benefit of those in need. We have a Cooperating Ministry in Sterling, Colorado, that has a cooler to store donated fresh produce.

      I am so sorry no one responded to you yet. Wonderful idea. I think the creators of this directory would be a great place to start. Though I do know that most farms have donation systems in place. We are more in the position of helping spread the word on food happenings, but please let us know if we can help put you in contact with someone.
