Get Involved.

Share the food [and the love].
Slow Food Boulder is always looking for a few good members.
Whether it’s to share food, host an event, volunteer or join the
conversation  on keeping food slow. The ideas are as endless
as are our options for sharing great food!

Volunteer
Attend a steering committee meeting, join the board, attend or plan an event, be the volunteer coordinator, volunteer with Cultiva, work in a school garden or at a farm, help organize a farm dinner.

Sign up for our volunteer opportunities mailing list with the form to the right or email info@slowfoodboulder.com with your inspired ideas.

Slow Food Reads
If you love reading novels where recipes tell part of the story — memoirs where the ingredients of life and favorite foods are carefully measured and combined and travelogues that bring the kitchens of the world into yours — you’re going to love Slow Food Reads!

Every other month Slow Food Reads will gather for just that — the meeting of culinary-inspired minds for discussion of food-centric books while we feast from its pages. Please check the calendar for information about upcoming Slow Reads gatherings. We hope to see you there!

Convivium a Casa
These events bring small groups of our membership together to enjoy the pleasure of each others’ company in the intimacy of our homes, and to share in the preparation and joys of the table! The ideas are endless [click here for a few]. Simply pick your theme and send us an email to get the ball rolling: info@slowfoodboulder.com

Each Convivium a Casa will be put on the master calendar and members will RSVP to the respective host. You decide how many people you would like to invite (a small group of 6 to 10 allows for a comfortable evening of conversation and fun). And you, as host, will decide the menu and plans for the evening. You may wish to enlist the help of those who will be attending your affair by posting menu items to bring. Each event will be completely subsidized by the attendees and the host. You decide how to share the costs — a potluck or percentage of shared total expenses. It helps to determine the costs in advance so interested members know how much the event will cost.

Customize your cuisine.
If you wish to host a Convivium a Casa event, please contact us and we will work with you to post your event on the Slow Food Boulder calendar. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us at info@slowfoodboulder.com.
